Dr. Goldman is an accomplished aerospace scientist, executive, and entrepreneur. Dr. Goldman co-authored Tatae’s Promise – You will live… you will tell with Sherry Maysonave. He translated and transcribed his mother’s eleven audio tapes, the basis for Tatae’s Promise, that were recorded in Yiddish and Spanish. Tatae’s Promise is a breathtaking, powerful, and uplifting historical drama based on the true story of his Mother’s Holocaust survival and her daring, successful escape from Auschwitz.

As CEO, COO, and CTO in diverse industries, he developed business across North America, South America, and Europe working with small companies and global corporations like ATT, Northrop Grumman, Whirlpool, America Movil, GM, Ford, Scotia Bank, and HSBC. At the age of seventeen, Goldman left his childhood home in Mexico City to attend the University of Houston, where he received a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1971 and a Master of Electrical Engineering in 1973.

Goldman was awarded a scholarship from NATO A.G.A.R.D. (Advisory Group for Aerospace Research and Development) to pursue a doctorate. In 1976, he received a PhD in Systems Engineering and Inertial Navigation Systems (Aeronautics) from UCLA, (University of California, Los Angeles) and in 1984 an MBA from MIT Sloan.

As a principal scientist at the U.S. Army Combat Development Experimentation Command (C.D.E.C.), Goldman initiated the development of the US Army’s National Training Center. A senior executive in diverse industries, Goldman held executive positions with aerospace leaders Lockheed and Rockwell and has focused on driving revenue and profit for companies of all sizes. He has successfully managed during periods of challenge and change, including start-up, growth, restructuring and process optimization.

Goldman served as a Board Member of MIT Engineering Systems Division for nine years and as an Advisory Board Member of MIT Institute of Data, Systems, and Society.

In addition, he has been a Board Member of Illinois Institute of Technology (I.T.T.), Knapp Center for Entrepreneurship, and a founding member of the “Talent Program” at the Illinois Math and Science Academy (I.M.S.A.).

Dr. Goldman and his wife, Terry, reside in Austin, Texas. He is a member of Congregation Agudas Achim, a synagogue in Austin.
